I wish now that I NEVER went looking for old high school friends online.Now that they are back in my life,I find many of them living in the past,thinking of me as shy little Connie when I'm very ertive now a days,they call me for every little petty problem they have.One asked me to help one of their friends because she is going through the death of her husband in Wisconsin.I live in San Francisco now.I don't know what to do because I soon as I call that person in Wisconsin,she will be calling me all the time because she thinks I'll help.I can't help other people out of every problem.I have some of my own and feel overwhelmed by them alone.I feel like telling that one person why SHE doesn't call the person in Wisconsin.A little bossy huh? Camaro Problems?

Husband with wife considering abortion, agonizing - what to do?

My wife and I are (I thought) happily married, with two adorable little girls. We're in our early 40s and live in a big, expensive city. My wife has always wanted a third child; I have resisted, thinking that as great as it might be, our resources and time and energy are already maxxed out. So -- horror of horrors -- we finally have a beautiful night alone, and the inevitable happens. We don't use birth control, and now she is pregnant and we are facing a fork in the road with two horrible outcomes: either we have this baby, which will put a huge strain on us; or we abort, and live with the consequences. In many ways I feel I am getting what I deserved for not using birth control, and that on some level I obviously either wanted this baby, or wanted this ghastly choice. depends on what part of the brain is affected. for example, going through the space/time continuum, will it affect his motor skills? then maybe he would forget how to grab things. He would recognize them, but be unable to know how to work them. Alright so for the past three days I took a trio to Toronto and my mom and I staying at Marriott three nights. I'm 17 and female, from Michigan. We received HORRIBLE treatment. Every waiter, cab driver, and people that work at the hotel were extremly rude to us. We're nice people and didn't do anything to them. We look presentable. For example we ate at this restaurant that was pretty nice and just because we asked to sit inside the waitress was extemly hostile and rude. Parents that let their kids run wild in stores?

OK, I was recently shopping with a friend and we were trying to get everything we needed because we did not have time to go to any other stores or make a second trip...and we were so overwhelmed by the loud mother and her even louder child...I would say he was about 6. It seemed the more we try to get away from them the closer and louder they were, so bad that we could not even concentrate on what we were there for...the boy was running up and down the isles knocking things over,yelling to his mother who was a few isles away,etc,etc...OK..when we went to the check out area they were there...and only ONE check out open and that meant standing right behind them...then a second check out opened and I said to my friend "thank God because I have had enough of this kid" (I knew the Mother heard me but I was careful not to let the kid hear me)...WELL she starts yelling "I heard that" repeatedly and had her what looked like grandmother take the boy out to the car. She then starts screaming at me after she got checked out that "I am sure your kids did the same thing when they were little" "he is just a child", etc,etc....my come back was "it's not a playground". She waited for us to exit the store and then shouted obscenities and said "I should ram this cart right into your car b****". Was I totally wrong in my actions?

Which one should I get, a 12 Gallon JBJ Nano Cube or a 10 gallon gl that I configured myself? How do I clean a disgustingly dirty kitchen floor?

Bleach will, unfortunately, damage the floor. Linoleum is made of natural materials (unlike vinyl) so anything too acidic or alkaline isn't great. Get up whatever you can with a broom or water dampened sponge first. Most linoleum floors are waxed, so it's best to use a good ph neutral all purpose cleaner. Dilute it with water and mop it. That will clean and remove the odor. Since it's hidden under the fridge, moving to a harsher method like lemon or orange cleaner might be worth it. It's likely that there will always be some sign of the stain, but at least you wont have to worry about germs, mold or other growth! :) Good luck!!

Holocaust question about Germany and surrounding countries?

I'm doing a Holocaust project and for part of the project I was thinking of printing out a map of Germany and the surrounding countries that were involved in the Holocaust, and then put little SS soldiers and Hitler on Germany and leave the other countries with no people. There's another part of the project where I'm putting Jews, Gypsies, disabled people, etc in and that would be where all of the people in the other countries went (murdered). I want the map to symbolize the extermination of millions of people, but I'm not sure if it would be factually correct because I don't know what kind of people were in each country at the time. I know that all those countries weren't filled with just people that Hitler wanted to kill, but would it make sense to have Hitler and his "friends" standing on Germany and no people standing on other countries?

Graduate school is very very different than undergrad. It's much more intense and focused on cl work/research. How much socializing goes on depends very much on the graduate program whereas any undergrad has a social scene. But it's way to early for you to be worrying about meeting a potential spouse and graduate school, focus on getting yourself set to apply for undergrad. You really don't know who you will be in 5.5 years when you apply to grad school.

Another baby? How would you approach this?

We have a 16 month old son. He is the light of our lives. I'm 32 years old and my husband is 44. Having this child has been such a challenge for us. We've almost lost ourselves in the process, and come very close to divorce. We are stronger now and I feel like we continue to get stronger every day. Somehow I feel like I'm not ready to give up on the idea of having another baby. My husband, understandably, is. He feels he's too old. I'm not sure I'd want another for maybe 2 more years and he feels he'll just be too old at that point. I understand this yet something in me yearns for another. If we didn't have another I'd be happy, overjoyed with the one we do have as he is the most amazing little guy I've ever known. How do I approach this? What would you do? Should I just give up on this idea? Dealing with the loss of a parent?

My mother ped away yesterday. I lived with her up until her death because I was trying to get out of debt myself and at the same time, I wanted to take care of the woman who took care of me. However, she was sick (which I did not know how bad) on Friday, on a ventilator on Saturday and left us on Sunday. I do not know what to do or how to deal with this. Hello. Thank you all for reading, and I'm open for any and all advice. My girlfriend is 21, and I am 20. She works full time and I am a medical student, life is good to say the least. We have been dating now for 7 months, and the other night parked outside a McDonald's of all places eating ice cream, we started talking about previous relationships. I was her first. No one had with her before me, but she did have a relationship with a guy for 2 weeks that led to a couple blow jobs, and also she had a "hook up" with a guy she met online 1 week before she met me where they went to a parking lot and she blew him. Whats making my teeth hurt so much?? and what do you think I should do?

That's a lot of work to have done, I wouldn't expect it not to hurt! My dad is a dentist (DDS) and my mom works there, and they are always telling me to never let a cavity get so bad that you have to have a root c, because even though the root c procedure stops it from getting worse, there's already a lot of damage done, and will be very painful. From what I recall, the pain is really bad in the beginning, and slows down eventually, meaning, you'll always have pain but not as frequent. Crowns are necessary, but they don't last forever. I think the longest a crown will last is 10 years, but a lot of people crack them off from biting on something too hard, and that's painful as well, and they have to go get it fixed. Sorry if this info doesn't give much hope! Take care of the teeth you still have. It's not the Dentist's fault you have pain, you should have practiced better oral hygiene, but always get a second, or even third, opinion!

I'm working as an Engineering internship in another city and is my first job. Lately i've been experiencing anxiety, stress and depressionness every morning (with or without work). Should I ask my boss to switch my position to something where I feel more comfortable working? Theres no one at work that can currently replace me right now because only me and another co-worker are trained. I don't want them to feel that I am incompetent of the task, because the truth is, the job I am given is not difficult at all. I work as an inspector for a worksite and all I do is walk around with a clipboard and they give me good work hours and pay. But if I feel unhappy with the hours of this job, should I inform my boss and see if he can arrange that I work in a position I feel more comfortable with?

Chest pain that started during my soccer game...?

so i had a soccer game this past sunday and in the middle of the first half, i felt a pain in the right side of my chest right under my pectoral muscle. don't know what caused it but i'm thinking it was from a heavy challenge on me from an opposing player. during the 2nd half, there was still a small pain, but nothing really major. later that day, i felt like i had a bruised rib or something, but there was no discoloration. i asked a friend and he said maybe i pulled a chest muscle but i'm unsure how bad it is. there's a pretty minor pain when i take a deep breath and when i tried doing an ab workout just before typing this that required me to lay on the floor and the pain was just a little too much to bare, so i stopped. like i said, there's only a minor pain when i take a deep breath, a short, minor pain when i bend forward, and pain that causes me to cautiously and slowly lay on my back when i go to bed. how long does an aggravated or pulled chest muscle take to heal in my case? anyone have this experience?

Well, Mir has since pack on about 15 lbs of muscle and will probably add on another 15 by the time they meet again. He also lost the gut and looks to be in top shape. With the added strength, training specifically with takedown defense, and his boxing, Mir can win the third fight if it ever happens. I have no doubt Mir has better boxing than Brock. Mir has some serious power and can give Brock trouble. Brock will take him down but with Mir in good shape and bigger than in fight 2, won't be able to control him as easily. Medical Question!?

I am a 25 year old female. I have graves disease, graves eye disease and a swollen lymph node in my lower abdomen. I have had Graves Disease for about 1 year. I just had a thyroid ultrasound and it showed that there is a nodule on the thryoid. I have a goiter on both sides of the thyroid. I have to undergo a thyroid biopsy before we can go any further. I also have the abdominal lymphnode that is swollen and I have sharp pains off and on from that. I have had 2 cat scans and 4 rounds of antibiotics with no results. There is a lymphnode biopsy planned as well. My question(s) are this, Will this be painful? The other is can these conditions be related at all? There are no other nodes swollen that we can tell. And it is called Omniscient not omnipresent. If you are writing in this manner, you just write in third person and hold back nothing. A much better way to write is third person limited, where the narrator is either unaware or chooses NOT to reveal the entire story. That allows for the element of surprise at the ending.
