If i failed art in my freshman year in high school is it still possible that i can get into Otis?

I have had private art instructors before and i have chosen that designing is what i really want to do. I know I am pretty strong in art from hearing it from artistic people around me. I am going into my sopre year in high school but i failed my art cl my freshman year in high school because i had problems with my teacher so i am not looking forward to taking that cl again. I have honors and will have AP cles when i get back to school and my GPA has always been around 3.6ish. I know Otis will take a look at my transcript and my failed art cl will pop up. Is there a chance that i can still get into Otis College of Art and Design or any good art school in California? how can i fix this or if i take another visual arts cl what should i take?
