Should I get a full or a interim service if last time I got a full service?

The car had only done abou 8k when it had a full service, but now (just over a year later) its done about 19k in all. I am not sure what I should get as I dont want to waste cash unnecessarily but I am aware that the interim services are not meant to be that good. Thank you
