URGENT!!! Twilight Question?

Do you think that effortless s an important word in Twilight? Me and my friend are in an argument about this. Yes, Edward doesn't have to breath and he pick up trucks etc. BUT doesn't he put ALOT of effort into not eating BELLA?!
