Touching My Cornea When Taking Contacts Out????????

when i take my contacts out [left eye] i always end up touching my cornea way to much like my contacts slide out but i dont know so i end up rubbing at my cornea for a few second longer and stuff and that keeps happening what will happen if it continues??
