How do i connect my Ps3 to Surround Sound?

Check and see if there is an optical audio input in the back of your home theater. Connect an optical cable from the tv to the home theater so that you can hear the sound. The PS3 will be connected to the tv using the HDMI cable (carries the video and audio signal). The optical cable carry the digital audio (surround sound) from the tv to the home theater.
