How can i connect to nintendo WFC ?

I do know that you can only connect to nintendo wfc if you live in canada or USA and i'm from asia but how come my clmate was able to connect to Nintendo WFC even if we're from Asia. I'm now filling up my connection setting but where can you find in your computer what your WEP key is ? thanks.
