Under what grounds should I make my lawsuit?
On 8/7/1988; I was accused & charged with P.C.288 I'm waiting now for the Traditional Pardon doents. Working on this case, I written to the Public Defender's office, and this letter was their reply: Unfortunately, our office did not represent you in FWV23565. Per the court records, you were represented by appointed counsel, Frank Cardinal, who was in private practice at the time. I'm sorry to inform you that Mr. Cardinal died some yrs ago; and I don't know who handled his criminal files. Perhaps the state bar can help you locate that information.(wanting the reporter's transcript)The public defender never represented you in your 288 case, and thus has no information now regarding that case to provide to you. It as been almost 20 yrs since you entered a plea in this case(which I did not.)and I'm certain a copy of the transcript of your plea still exists. I suggest you contact the court to determine if it does. If ask, this came from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. San Bernardino County. Sue!
