Okay so i never had a htp do this before..what does this mean?

i took a test today and you know how the dye moves across the test right after you pee on it>?? and then it turns white and you have one line saying its negative? okay well i took this test and all the way up until where the positive line would be it stayed dark purple and then there was a line in the controll window..is this a negative?
