Flax seed oil is very safe. Flaxseed (Linseed ) oil is the richest source of Omega 3 LNA, essential fatty acid. Our body needs 2 times more Omega 6 LA then Omega 3 LNA. But the modern diet typically is way too high in Omega 6 vs. 3. Usually we are getting 20 to 50 times more Omega 6, so supplementing like you are is good. Omega 6 is in safflower, corn, sunflower and peanut oil. Fish and olive oils are also good.
