12 Gallon JBJ Nano Cube or 10 Gallon Gl?

Which one should I get, a 12 Gallon JBJ Nano Cube or a 10 gallon gl that I configured myself? I have heard that the Nano cubes are cheap and fall apart, gl breaking or cracking, and the filters are garbage. I figured it would be about $60 total cheaper to get a gl. I need your advice. I may just get a 20 gallon long but I will decide between these 2 first. Also, if it helps I don't want corals or anything, just some live rock and a clownfish or two.
