Wow, HP. This is very revealing and beautiful. A hard, hard, thing, to be away from your son. I went through about a 12 year stint of not seeing my oldest son. He was kept from me (long story). The blessing is he came looking for me. Changed both our lives forever. Have faith. Never give up. He loves you and misses you too. Always keep the door open, and one day he'll be there for you. It still breaks my heart when I remember back...but, it'll happen for you, too. Just believe it. You're in my prayers. your friend, shirley.
