Why can't somebody come up with better religion that is good for people?

ignorant people have been bamboozled for so many centuries and it continues. but the thing is there was some order and progress. but now everybody knows about these things. we need order but not some stalinistic or Orwellian crap. what are we to believe in and do something worthwhile for humankind? Is there something worthwhile besides staying alive? Breathing. Eating. Working and staying busy doing "something?" Do you just have to fantasize and dream up something? Just keep breathing, huh? Move on , brother.
